Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS) is a subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, a leading Japanese mega‑bank. The Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis will lead enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting, performance insight, pricing, profitability analysis, investment case development and governance while supervising the FP&A team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual strategic plan, operating plan and rolling forecast processes, managing assumptions, templates, timelines and approvals.
• Convert strategy, growth plans and operational drivers into integrated financial plans covering revenue, cost, cash, investment and capacity.
• Produce monthly management MIS, variance analysis, risk assessment and actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Develop strategic pricing models, cost methodologies and profitability views across services, clients and locations.
• Partner with business units to assess financial impact of initiatives, staffing plans and expansion proposals.
• Lead investment and expansion business cases, including option analysis, NPV, payback and post‑investment tracking.
• Design and enforce FP&A governance, controls, process maps, RACI and segregation of duties.
• Supervise the FP&A Associate, establish operating rhythms and create templates, checklists and knowledge repositories.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 10‑15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance or finance transformation.
• Strong exposure to banking, BFSI, shared services or corporate finance environments.
• Proven ability to engage senior leaders, finance, legal, compliance and audit functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on clear decision narratives.
