Transportation Representative

About the role

Amazon's Transportation Operations Center (TOC) coordinates freight movement across North America, India, and the EU. As a Transportation Representative you will ensure on‑time pick‑up and delivery of shipments, resolve exceptions, and provide actionable insights to internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the communication bridge between carriers, vendors, suppliers and internal teams such as Retail, Finance, Software Support and Fulfillment Centers.
• Extract, analyze and report data from multiple databases using Excel, Access and SQL to support decision‑making.
• Develop, track and interpret performance metrics to drive business improvements.
• Define functional requirements for technology teams to build scalable solutions.
• Assess emerging trends quickly and act decisively on business impact.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate owners and ensure timely resolution.
• Create clear weekly narratives, highlight goal variances and present insights in review forums.
• Provide real‑time customer support in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
• Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑paced team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational understanding of logistics and supply‑chain operations.
