Transportation Program Manager

About the role

As a member of Google’s global Transportation Team, you will help shape the company’s mobility strategy and oversee one of the largest corporate transportation programs worldwide. You will be responsible for delivering transportation services across India and supporting operations in APAC and EMEA, working closely with vendor partners to improve the employee commute experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Bangalore’s transportation programs and provide operational support to other India locations.
• Maintain uniform, efficient service delivery by managing strategic direction, financial operations, and vendor relationships.
• Transform the commuter journey into a seamless, high‑reliability experience that boosts employee productivity.
• Manage a complex portfolio of transport providers, driving innovation and service resilience through partnership management.
• Supervise daily transport operations, using data‑driven insights and real‑time feedback to sustain high employee satisfaction scores.
• Act as the primary liaison between real‑estate, workplace services, and transportation teams.
• Track progress toward program goals, oversee budgeting and capital justification, and report updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in corporate employee transportation operations and services.
• Proven experience developing and managing budgets and capital budget justification.
• Preferred experience in vendor and program management, as well as safety and risk management.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to navigate projects with diverse stakeholders.
