Trade Operations Associate

About the role

FalconX is a leading digital‑asset platform that connects institutional clients with crypto markets. As a Trade Operations Associate you will manage end‑to‑end settlement workflows, protect ledger integrity and serve as the primary operational contact for institutional counterparties.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main operational contact for an assigned portfolio of institutional counterparties, executing trade settlements within agreed SLAs.
• Perform daily multi‑system reconciliations across internal ledgers and external platforms, identifying and resolving breaks to ensure 100 % data accuracy.
• Monitor daily inventory requirements for trading, settlement, lending and borrowing, partnering with Treasury to optimise asset location and liquidity.
• Collaborate with Trading, Product and Customer Success teams to refine execution workflows and deliver a best‑in‑class institutional trading experience.
• Provide trade, settlement and fee data to Accounting for accurate end‑of‑day positioning and ledger closing.
• Support Risk and Compliance by supplying operational inputs for scalable controls.
• Identify process gaps, automate manual steps and strengthen reconciliation frameworks.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in middle‑office, trade operations or settlements at an investment bank, hedge fund, prop‑trading firm or digital‑asset brokerage.
• Strong interest in digital‑asset market structures, blockchain protocols such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and custodial infrastructure.
• Meticulous organisational habits, using structured workflows, checklists and operational metrics.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask under tight settlement windows and make decisive decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
