About the role
We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards professional to join our Regional Rewards Centre of Competence. In this specialist position you will act as a trusted partner to market Total Rewards teams, providing strategic guidance on compensation strategy, annual reward processes, market benchmarking and rewards governance across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic input and consultation to market Total Rewards teams in designing and implementing local Total Rewards strategies aligned with global guidance.
- Act as the primary Total Rewards point of contact for assigned markets, businesses, joint ventures, zones and categories.
- Partner with market Rewards teams to plan and execute annual compensation processes, including salary review budgeting, short‑term bonuses, long‑term incentives, gender pay equity and living‑wage analysis.
- Lead Market Compensation Committees and ensure key reward decisions receive appropriate approvals.
- Analyse external compensation data, market trends and salary survey results to deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and review pay structures, conduct market pricing exercises for critical or high‑demand roles.
- Perform job analysis and evaluation activities, ensuring accurate grading and governance compliance.
- Coordinate regional and global Total Rewards projects, supporting transitions to shared‑service teams and delivering training programmes.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of HR experience in a large organization or HR consulting environment.
- Strong background in compensation, rewards, employee cost management or workforce budgeting.
- Practical knowledge of job analysis and evaluation methodologies (e.g., IPE).
- Experience in external market benchmarking, compensation analysis and salary‑structure design.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.
- Experience with SAP HR or comparable HR information systems.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools such as Mercer.
- Knowledge of job analysis and evaluation methodologies (e.g., IPE).
