Territory Sales Representative – Pickup & Delivery

About the role

The Territory Sales Representative – Pickup & Delivery is responsible for providing excellent customer service through timely collection and delivery of shipments on an assigned route. This field‑based role combines logistics operations with sales activities to grow the business within the territory. The position reports to the regional sales manager and works closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver shipments on schedule, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Maintain continuous connection with shipments throughout the delivery cycle.
• Develop and expand the assigned territory by identifying new customers and opportunities.
• Grow existing accounts by delivering value‑added services and cross‑selling.
• Generate sales leads and convert them into active business.
• Continuously update product and operational knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.
• Monitor route performance, track key metrics and report results to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards during all field activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on reliability and timeliness.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage a personal route.
• Good communication skills and a proactive sales mindset.
• Willingness to learn and stay up‑to‑date with product and service offerings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic proficiency with mobile routing or logistics applications.
