Teller – Retail Banking

About the role

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Teller for its Ratlam branch in Madhya Pradesh. The full‑time position involves being the first point of contact for customers, delivering high‑quality service and processing everyday banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and assist them with their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers, ensuring precise record‑keeping.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure compliance with bank policies and security protocols.
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve branch goals and support operations during peak hours.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0–4 years of experience in customer service or cash handling; banking experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and undergo background and credit checks.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in computer applications.
