Technologist – Linux, DevOps & Cyber‑Security (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

SFLC.in is seeking a technologist with strong Linux, DevOps and cyber‑security expertise to join immediately. You will help improve system performance, secure infrastructure and contribute to open‑source initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience in digital security training.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers for optimal performance and security.
• Implement and operate DevOps tools such as Docker and Ansible to automate processes.
• Deploy, design and manage cloud‑based security solutions.
• Apply cyber‑security concepts to protect data networks and systems.
• Conduct mobile and digital security investigations to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards.
• Oversee system updates, patches, audits and backups.
• Utilise Proxmox knowledge where required.
• Participate in digital security training and research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience as a System Administrator, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience with Linux server hosting.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Expertise in cyber‑security concepts and applications.
• Interest or experience in mobile/digital security is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking software, hardware and protocols.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Bash.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
