Technical Engineer – Valves Specialist

About the role

Grupo Cunado seeks a Technical Engineer with strong valve expertise to join its Chennai team. You will work in an international environment, providing technical support to projects and ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, client specifications and data sheets.
• Attend Kick‑Off Meetings (KOMs) and support the Project Manager and Document Controller.
• Clarify technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Coordinate between manufacturers and clients to align technical requirements.
• Follow up orders to guarantee compliance with project procedures.
• Manage and resolve technical problems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering (mechanics, electronics, control) or higher.
• Minimum 3 years experience with valve manufacturers, actuators or distributors serving EPC projects.
• Proven work with global engineering firms (e.g., PETROFAC, PETROJET, DODSAL, TECNICAS REUNDIAS, TECHNIP).
• Strong knowledge of materials, international valve regulations, contractual terms and logistics (Incoterms, tariffs, taxes).
• Advanced Excel skills and high‑level spoken and written English.
