Technical Customer Project Manager – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Customer Project Manager with a mechanical focus to turn customer ideas into fully defined concepts and hardware solutions. The role combines product development, project coordination and technical documentation to meet automotive customer targets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop ideas into 3D models using Creo software.
• Interpret customer RFIs and questionnaires and propose suitable products.
• Drive IFMEA offers and adapt technical documentation according to requirements.
• Prepare test plans, development reports and other technical customer documents.
• Apply quality tools such as 8D, PUME, DOE and FTA throughout projects.
• Plan, organise, execute and manage projects to ensure successful hardware finalisation and settings alignment with customer milestones.
• Track milestones and provide project status updates using PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automobile Engineering.
• Basic understanding of mobility applications, exhaust systems and generic product capability limitations.
• Ability to work independently, anticipate problems and take responsibility for results.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and diesel engines is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DRBFM and DFMEA methodologies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient CAD modelling with Creo.
• Experience with Windchill PDM.
• Data management using SAP.
• Use of quality tools: 8D, PUME, DOE, FTA.
• Project management fundamentals.
• Presentation preparation in PowerPoint.
