Team Member - Civil

About the role

The Team Member – Civil will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the CCR‑5 civil engineering project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all statutory and safety requirements. The role combines hands‑on construction oversight with continuous improvement of team skills and safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans for civil works, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Lead day‑to‑day civil activities, coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor resource deployment (manpower, materials, equipment) to optimise productivity and cost efficiency.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe work procedures.
• Control project budgets, track expenditures, and propose cost‑effective alternatives without compromising quality.
• Prepare and submit required licences and approvals to government authorities.
• Maintain good housekeeping, oversee painting, insulation, and structural work according to specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and quality circles.
• Develop and train team members to enhance technical competence and safety awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning and executing civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, HSE regulations, and quality certification standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple vendors.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive safety mindset.
