About the role
The Team Lead – Airhaul will drive transportation planning by collaborating with internal stakeholders and third‑party carriers to create effective operational plans. This role ensures smooth daily operations, proactive communication, and continuous process improvement within Amazon’s fast‑growing network.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute transportation plans based on requirements from fulfillment, sort, and last‑mile teams.
- Monitor routes, engage carriers and vendors, and resolve operational issues daily.
- Communicate tactically with external (vendors, carriers) and internal (retail, finance, delivery stations, sort centers) customers.
- Lead process‑re‑engineering initiatives to eliminate root causes of defects and improve efficiency.
- Manage cross‑functional projects, coordinating multiple organizations to meet critical business timelines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in operations or supply‑chain environments (preferred).
