Team Lead – Airhaul Transportation Planning

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for its Airhaul transportation planning team. The role will coordinate requirements from fulfillment centers, sort centers and last‑mile teams, and partner with third‑party carriers to build and execute effective operational plans.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate transportation requirements from FC, SC and LM stakeholders.
• Collaborate with 3P carriers to design daily route plans and monitor execution.
• Perform route monitoring, carrier and vendor outreach, and problem‑solving for a rapidly expanding network.
• Communicate tactically with external (vendors, carriers) and internal (retail, finance, delivery stations, sort centers) customers.
• Lead process‑re‑engineering initiatives to eliminate root causes of defects and improve efficiency.
• Manage cross‑functional projects across multiple organizations, meeting critical business timelines.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong Excel skills.
