Sweeper (School Housekeeping)

About the role

The Sweeper will report to the Housekeeping Manager and play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for students and staff at Sancta Maria International School. The role is focused on daily cleaning operations across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties to keep the school premises spotless.
• Ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
• Collaborate with school staff to address specific cleaning needs.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a school or child‑supervision setting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and appropriate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

Required skills

• Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with standard cleaning equipment.
