Supply Chain Management – Service Parts Specialist

About the role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management professional to lead service parts ordering, tracking and invoicing for its Mining Machinery division across India. The role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely dispatch, and supporting the overall efficiency of the parts supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Order service parts, track shipments, generate GRNs and process invoicing against orders.
• Plan, procure and monitor parts requirements across PAN India, maintaining safety, minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Analyze and monitor MRP runs regularly to meet KPI targets.
• Coordinate dispatch, conduct OS reviews and support inventory optimization.

Required profile

• DEEE or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• 12‑15 years of experience in supply chain or material management within the mining equipment sector.
• Hands‑on experience with hydraulic excavators, dumpers, graders or cranes.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of service parts management and forecasting methods.
• Proficiency in SAP SD and SAP MM modules (core‑team level).
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid material management capabilities and familiarity with MRP processes.
