Supplier Quality Specialist

About the role

The Supplier Quality Specialist will act as the key liaison between our internal teams and external suppliers to ensure that all incoming materials meet our strict quality standards. You will lead certification processes, manage inspection personnel, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support certification of new suppliers and materials through CPA, CPV, and CTA phases.
• Manage direct and indirect hourly workers in the incoming inspection area.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, R&D, and Logistics to align supplier quality standards and resolve recurring issues.
• Conduct autonomous process and product audits at supplier sites.
• Interface with suppliers on quality issues, follow up on corrective actions (8D), and implement contingency plans.
• Handle quarantined items, non‑conforming lot returns, and conditional releases.
• Define and execute robust contingency plans such as 100% sorting.
• Ensure implementation of the 3Q6S methodology and Golden Safety Rules.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in Quality Management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive urgent decisions under pressure.
• Strong negotiation and supplier communication skills.
