Structural Designer – Industrial Concrete Buildings

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Designer to lead the design of industrial concrete buildings. The role focuses on large‑scale RCC structures, steel stair systems and detailed connection engineering, turning conceptual ideas into constructible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of large‑scale RCC buildings and steel stair components.
• Produce detailed connection, shear and anchor‑bolt designs.
• Generate construction drawings, general arrangements, elevations and sections from the models.
• Extract material take‑off (MTO) data using Revit.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure clear communication across disciplines.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in structural design, preferably with industrial concrete structures.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, SP3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Experience with Unistrut structural systems (preferred).
• Strong 3D modelling and detailing capabilities for RCC and steel components.
