Staff Nurse – New Graduate Positions

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, newly qualified nurses to join our team at Caithness General Hospital. Successful candidates will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) by September 2026 and will start their career delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centred nursing care in line with NHS standards.
• Participate in the NHSH Flying Start Programme during the first year.
• Work collaboratively with the multi‑disciplinary team across various departments.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC (or will be by September 2026).
• Motivated, enthusiastic and ready to develop clinical expertise.
• Willingness to work in a rotational day/night contract.
• Ability to verify current residence address through identification documents.
• Open to applications from Gaelic speakers.
