Solution Architect – Device Security

About the role

As a Solution Architect for Device Security at BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad, you will lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity measures that protect BASF’s devices and endpoints. You will work in a global, cross‑functional team to ensure security solutions are robust, scalable and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, update and deploy cybersecurity controls and endpoint protection tools across BASF devices.
• Identify, prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on severity and business impact.
• Evaluate existing security controls, propose enhancements and develop new solutions for emerging threats.
• Report on security policy effectiveness and recommend improvements to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, product owners and international partners to provide guidance and support.
• Drive knowledge sharing, best‑practice adoption and consensus between technical and business teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in device or endpoint security.
• Strong communication, leadership and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Agile mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft data‑security tools such as Purview.
• Familiarity with Elastic XDR or comparable security platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
• Hands‑on experience with the Microsoft platform, including Copilot.
