Software Developer – Generalist

About the role

IBM Infrastructure & Technology is looking for a versatile Software Developer to design, develop, test and deliver software solutions that support high‑resiliency mainframes, hybrid cloud platforms and automation tools. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment alongside global teams to turn stakeholder requirements into reliable, future‑ready offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code and unit‑test component‑level software solutions for back‑end and front‑end applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile ceremonies to gather requirements and deliver fit‑for‑purpose features.
• Debug and resolve customer‑reported issues by developing and testing code fixes.
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Test and deliver software offerings using both leading‑edge and proven technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with back‑end and front‑end development concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Ability to design, code, test and integrate component‑level software.
• Exposure to debugging, troubleshooting and CI/CD pipeline development.
