Shopify Developer – Technical Lead & E‑commerce Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dual‑threat professional who will both design and build custom Shopify storefronts and lead the technical roadmap of our e‑commerce platform. The role combines hands‑on development with advanced management of vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain highly customized Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate third‑party Shopify apps and build custom integrations with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect ERP, CRM and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor and improve site performance, core web vitals and technical SEO.
• Evaluate and potentially migrate the store to a headless architecture with Next.js or Shopify Hydrogen.
• Conduct cross‑browser and cross‑device quality assurance testing.
• Manage third‑party development vendors and mentor internal developers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Shopify/Shopify Plus development.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or project management experience.
• Strong analytical ability to use Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics and heat‑mapping data for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
