Shift Leader – SMT Manufacturing Quality

About the role

We are seeking a Shift Leader for SMT Manufacturing Quality at Bosch Automotive Electronics India (RBAI) in Bengaluru. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, handling customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial analysis and coordination of customer complaints and complete PSS documentation.
• Troubleshoot PCB and component failures on the SMT line.
• Update and monitor QMMFMEA activities and participate in related meetings.
• Track and monitor customer complaint status and conduct CP audits.
• Account for scrap in SAP and ensure effective test‑gate tracking.
• Develop analytics and automation for analysis processes.
• Conduct risk assessments for suspected parts.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics with 4‑7 years of relevant experience, or B.Tech with at least 3 years of experience.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of the SMT process.
• Statistics knowledge for handling SPI/AOI failures.
• Basic PCB troubleshooting.
• Basic SAP usage.
• Understanding of quality tools, control plans, and process FMEA.
• Risk assessment and analytics automation capabilities.
