ServiceNow Senior Developer

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and integration of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions with the ServiceNow platform. The role will support the IT service management ecosystem, work closely with UK‑based teams, and ensure secure, automated identity processes across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations, including Integration Hub, REST APIs, and MID Servers.
• Design and implement integrations between IDAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD) and ServiceNow.
• Create service portal pages, widgets, and proof‑of‑concept applications.
• Write scalable, high‑quality code and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and ensure stability, scalability, and security of ServiceNow solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, especially with identity governance workflows.
• Availability to work during UK business hours.
• Proven ability to lead development efforts and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform, Integration Hub, REST APIs, MID Servers.
• IAM protocols and standards: SAML, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP.
• Experience with IDAM solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, ForgeRock, Microsoft Identity.
