Service Engineer Owner – Integration Platform (Hyderabad)

About the role

The Service Engineer Owner ensures business continuity and operational excellence of BASF's Integration Platform. Based in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for the reliable operation of the platform and its SAP integration runtimes, supporting developers, operations teams, partners, and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Guide teams on change, incident, and lifecycle management for the Integration Platform.
• Act as the operational owner, overseeing platform configuration, runtime alignment, and security material management.
• Support go‑lives, transports, and documentation while providing 2nd‑level incident resolution for critical integrations.
• Maintain platform stability, availability, and certificate management proactively.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience with large‑scale SAP Integration Suite and SAP PO environments.
• Hands‑on experience in an Agile or DevOps setting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high sense of responsibility, proactive and customer‑oriented attitude.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and conflict‑management skills.

Required skills

• SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Edge Integration Cell)
• SAP Process Orchestration (PO) production environment
• Familiarity with SAP API Management, SAP SLT, SAP Data Intelligence
• Java or Groovy programming knowledge (nice to have)
• Agile working methods
