Service Desk Specialist

About the role

The Service Desk Specialist provides first‑line technical assistance to internal users and clients, handling desktop, laptop and Office 365 issues. This role is based in Noida and focuses on delivering prompt, courteous support over the phone and through ticketing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incoming IT queries from clients and personnel via phone.
• Prioritise and address IT concerns, escalating critical incidents to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure IT service needs are met.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate service‑desk records.
• Ask probing questions to understand problems and explain possible solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware such as servers, computers, printers, and software applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a help‑desk technician.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Basic understanding of computer systems.
• Customer‑oriented and calm under pressure.
• 1‑2 years of experience in help‑desk or desktop support.
• Good communication skills.
