Senior Systems CAE Engineer

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Systems CAE activities that support vehicle safety products such as seatbelts and airbags. You will own simulation projects, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and mentor a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute CAE projects focused on system‑level simulation.
• Manage meshing, analysis, and post‑processing using HyperMesh, LS‑DYNA, Primer and LS‑Post.
• Plan project scope, schedule, and deliverables while ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct technical reviews, stage‑gate assessments, and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering knowledge transfer.
• Identify and implement process improvements and new simulation methodologies.
• Support automation initiatives and adapt to changing customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or related engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in automotive safety simulations.
• Strong leadership mindset with proven mentoring abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proactive learning attitude and ability to work in shift‑based operations when needed.
