Senior Software Engineer in Test – Cross‑Border Payments

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join its Transfer Solutions group in Pune. You will help ensure the highest quality for the Cross‑Border payments platform, focusing on Treasury Management services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop test frameworks for functional, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Collaborate with global engineering and product teams to embed testability into designs.
• Coach and lead Quality Engineers across locations.
• Partner with product owners to create User Acceptance Test suites.
• Monitor unit test coverage, manage smoke and integration testing across environments.

Required profile

• Strong background in software testing within agile environments.
• Experience delivering high‑quality, scalable applications.
• Ability to work with distributed systems and APIs.
• Excellent communication skills for demos and stakeholder discussions.
