Senior QA Automation Engineer – AI & Playwright

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead UI and API test automation for AI‑powered applications. The role focuses on building robust Playwright frameworks with TypeScript and validating Agentic AI workflows, large language models and intelligent agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration and end‑to‑end test scenarios.
• Build reusable automation components and improve framework scalability.
• Validate AI‑driven applications, Agentic AI workflows and LLM‑powered systems.
• Design and execute test strategies for AI models, prompts, workflows and autonomous agent behaviours.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI response quality, accuracy, reliability, safety and performance.
• Automate API testing using REST APIs and verify request/response payloads.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous quality delivery.
• Perform defect tracking, root‑cause analysis and support issue resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong expertise in UI and API test automation with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Agentic AI testing, LLMs, AI agents and evaluation frameworks.
