Senior Power BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join Bosch’s technology hub in India. The role focuses on designing, building and optimizing data visualisation solutions that support business decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and data models based on business requirements.
• Implement Power BI Service components such as workspaces, dataflows, datasets and gateways, ensuring secure and performant deployments.
• Optimize report performance through efficient DAX, query folding, aggregation tables and refresh rate management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts and SMEs to gather requirements, define KPIs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work with SQL Server, Azure SQL or Redshift to extract, transform and load data, and support ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and participate in CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience in data reporting, business intelligence or analytics.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end Power BI solutions and troubleshoot performance or data accuracy issues.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Power BI and Power Apps development
• SQL, DAX, data modelling
• ETL processes and data pipelines (Azure Data Factory or similar)
• Cloud services – Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Redshift
