Senior Manager – Prime Insurance – Mumbai

About the role

Birla Sunlife Insurance is looking for a Senior Manager to drive premium growth in Mumbai by managing relationships with channel partners and converting their customers to Birla Sunlife’s unit‑linked insurance solutions. The role combines business development, sales execution and post‑sale support to ensure consistent quarterly growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new insurance business from assigned relationship or channel partners within the designated zone.
• Provide pre‑sale and post‑sale support to both partners and end‑customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Achieve premium and revenue targets that contribute to overall company growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to maximise top‑line productivity.
• Navigate market volatility and align with the HDFC Branch Banking Model in an open‑architecture environment.
• Balance process requirements with partner expectations to maintain strong collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance or financial services sales, preferably with unit‑linked products.
• Ability to manage and influence channel partners, especially banking channels.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and the capacity to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving quarterly targets.
