Senior Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Protection

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Plumbing and Fire Protection to lead the design, development, and installation oversight of plumbing systems across multiple projects. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed plumbing system designs, plans, and specifications in compliance with local codes.
• Interpret architectural drawings and assess project requirements to size and scope plumbing solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate plumbing designs into overall project plans.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installation progress and verify adherence to approved designs.
• Supervise contractors during installation, providing guidance and ensuring industry standards are met.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, including pipe sizing, pressure drop, and flow rate analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues during construction and post‑completion.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, codes, and best practices in plumbing and fire protection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in plumbing system design, installation, or project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of national plumbing codes and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
