Senior Engineer – Civil & Plumbing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the civil and plumbing operations at Ramoji Film City. The role involves supervising, coordinating and controlling all plumbing installation, maintenance, repair and utility‑related works to ensure reliable water supply, drainage, sewage and hot‑water systems across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing works for new construction projects and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage water supply, storm‑water drainage, sewage treatment plant (STP) connections and hot‑water systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Oversee contractor performance, quality control and documentation.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring safety compliance and accurate daily reporting.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or Plumbing‑related discipline (or equivalent trade certification with extensive experience).
• 8‑10 years of relevant plumbing experience, preferably in large hotels, resorts, hospitals, commercial complexes, townships, film studios or similar infrastructure.
• Experience with large‑scale water supply, drainage and sewage systems is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, PPR, GI, CI and DI piping.
• Proficiency in soil, waste and vent systems, sanitary installations, water supply and pumping systems.
• Understanding of hot‑water systems, storm‑water drainage, sewage and STP connections.
• Ability to conduct pipe pressure and leakage testing.
• Reading and interpreting plumbing and AutoCAD drawings; competent in MS Excel for reporting.
