About the role
MakeMyTrip is looking for a Senior Content Writer to shape engaging content for its hotels portfolio, covering both domestic and international properties. You will blend creativity with data‑driven insights to produce copy that enhances the booking experience across the app and website.
Key responsibilities
- Create high‑quality content in multiple formats – UX copy, long‑form travel guides, creative videos and social media reels – aligned with business goals and user needs.
- Leverage user data and industry trends to continuously improve content effectiveness and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with product, design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of content across digital touchpoints while adhering to established guidelines.
- Manage multiple content projects, meet deadlines and maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Experiment with new storytelling formats and innovative approaches to keep the content fresh and relevant.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in English (Hons), Mass Communication, Journalism or a related field.
- 3‑4 years of professional experience in creative content writing and editing, including short‑form, long‑form and video content.
- Strong command of written and spoken English with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Prior exposure to travel, hospitality or lifestyle brands is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Experience using CMS tools for content management.
- Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma.
