Senior Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement and monitor security controls for its cloud environments. Based in Hyderabad, the role will protect cloud applications and customer data while aligning security practices with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for SaaS and cloud workloads.
• Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities and threats in cloud environments.
• Define technical security requirements for IAM, security groups, data protection, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and SIEM integrations.
• Research and design cloud security solutions to improve compliance with the NIST framework and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure consistent security posture.
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud security engineering, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cloud data protection.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and proactive attitude toward security improvements.
