Senior Cloud Engineering Expert – Multi‑Domain Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineering Expert to design and operate scalable, secure cloud platforms that support multi‑domain engineering activities such as development, testing, simulation and validation. The role will drive digital transformation across Bosch’s engineering teams by standardising processes, automating workflows and integrating diverse toolchains into a unified cloud ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage scalable, secure cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for multi‑domain engineering needs.
• Design and implement cloud‑based CI/CD pipelines that integrate development, testing and validation workflows.
• Automate end‑to‑end build, test, verification, validation and deployment processes.
• Define and standardise engineering processes, methods and toolchains across teams.
• Establish cloud‑based Verification & Validation frameworks, including test automation, simulation and traceability.
• Lead virtualization and containerisation strategies to provide reproducible, scalable environments.
• Integrate diverse tools (ALM, DevOps, testing, simulation) into a unified cloud ecosystem.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, cost optimisation and observability best practices.
• Support digital engineering initiatives such as model‑based development and virtual validation environments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance across teams and domains.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of hands‑on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and ability to work on similar proprietary platforms.
• Experience with large‑scale or multi‑tenant cloud environments.
• Proven track record designing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Deep understanding of engineering processes, methods and toolchain integration.
• Experience in Verification & Validation, including test automation strategies.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation and virtualization technologies.
