Senior Associate - DevOps

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will lead the design, evolution and optimisation of infrastructure, automation frameworks and delivery pipelines that enable reliable, secure and scalable software delivery across the organisation. You will influence technical direction, drive DevOps maturity and partner with engineering, architecture, security and global delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and continuously improve enterprise‑grade CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, security scanning and deployment across multiple products and environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA to embed quality gates, automated testing and security checks throughout the pipeline.
• Architect, provision and maintain Azure cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM or Bicep) and ensure stability, performance and cost‑optimisation.
• Lead incident investigations for complex infrastructure issues and drive resolution with global teams.
• Mentor engineers on release automation, branching strategies and pipeline optimisation.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Cloud platform: Microsoft Azure and its native services.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), ARM, Bicep.
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
