About the role
The Senior Assistant Operations position at Maersk supports the APM Terminals warehouse team. The role combines system analysis, such as WMS versus SAP comparison, with hands‑on warehouse activities. Maersk promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct WMS vs SAP comparison for operational efficiency.
- Monitor ageing of shipments (> 2 days) and prioritize actions.
- Generate opening and closing productivity reports.
- Perform manual unloading of incoming cargo.
- Pick items accurately for outbound orders.
- Pack shipments ready for dispatch.
Required profile
- Experience with manual warehouse tasks including unloading, picking and packing.
- Familiarity with typical warehouse roles such as Warehouse Associate, Operator, Picker or Packer.
