Security Officer – Site Operations Lead

About the role

The Security Officer will act as the operational lead at a client site, overseeing all security activities, supervising guard personnel, and ensuring compliance with G4S standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site security operations, acting as second‑in‑command or site head depending on size.
• Supervise Security Supervisors and Guards, conduct daily muster, uniform and equipment checks, and manage attendance and performance.
• Serve as primary client liaison, hold regular meetings, and address client concerns promptly.
• Oversee access control, patrolling, visitor management, asset protection, and CCTV monitoring in line with SOPs.
• Respond to incidents such as theft, fire, or medical emergencies, coordinate evacuations, and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Maintain daily logs, occurrence reports, visitor registers, and statutory records; submit weekly performance summaries.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training, drills, and ensure compliance with grooming, behavior, and discipline standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• 4‑8 years of security industry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or officer role.
• Background in defence, police or paramilitary preferred.
• Age 28‑50 years (flexible for ex‑servicemen) and minimum height 170 cm.
• Physically fit and alert.
