School Van Driver

About the role

The School Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from CS Academy in Coimbatore. The role requires punctuality, adherence to traffic and safety regulations, and the ability to maintain a respectful environment for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive the school van along assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students on time.
• Ensure the safety of students during boarding, travel, and alighting.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and trip logs.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure seat‑belt usage where applicable.
• Assist students with special needs or younger children when boarding or exiting.
• Cooperate with school authorities, parents, and other drivers.
• Attend scheduled training sessions or meetings as required.
