SAP EHS Consultant

About the role

Schaeffler is seeking an experienced SAP EHS Consultant to lead the implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement of its SAP Environment, Health & Safety solutions. You will work closely with HR, IT, and EHS teams to ensure the system supports employee health and safety policies and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver SAP EHS projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate resources, manage milestones, and oversee deliverables.
• Configure and customize SAP EHS modules to align with corporate safety protocols.
• Analyze existing safety processes, identify improvement opportunities, and integrate them into SAP EHS.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and best‑practice guides for SAP EHS deployment.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, resolve incident tickets, and ensure system availability.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and manage work items in JIRA.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience implementing and managing SAP EHS in a corporate environment.
• Proven project‑management experience with HR‑IT initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of employee health and safety regulations.

Required skills

• SAP EHS configuration and operation.
• SAP interface technologies – RFC and OData.
• Object‑oriented ABAP programming.
• Familiarity with SAP HR modules.
• JIRA for agile task management.
