Retail Salesperson

About the role

EDWAN, a premium menswear brand, is looking for a full‑time Retail Salesperson to join its Chennai showroom. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them discover the brand’s refined ethnic wear and providing a personalized styling experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, assess their needs and recommend products that match EDWAN’s premium positioning.
• Explain product features, fits, fabrics and design details.
• Manage trials, fittings and ensure the showroom remains clean and well‑organized.
• Handle sales transactions, operate the POS system and support cash and inventory management.
• Assist with stock display, replenishment and visual merchandising.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Strong retail sales and customer‑service orientation.
• Good product knowledge or a keen interest in fashion, especially ethnic and premium apparel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages spoken in Chennai.
• Professional appearance, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• Availability to work on the showroom floor for extended periods, including weekends and peak festive seasons.
