Resident Nurse – Provide Care at Destitute Home

About the role

The Resident Nurse will live on‑site at a destitute home, delivering continuous medical care, health monitoring and emotional support to vulnerable residents. This full‑time position requires a compassionate, patient‑centered approach to ensure the well‑being, hygiene and comfort of all occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care, administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility.
• Maintain accurate medical records and promptly report any changes in health status to the supervising doctor.
• Coordinate medical check‑ups, emergency responses and liaise with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure cleanliness and infection‑control standards in nursing and residential areas.
• Deliver first aid and manage minor illnesses or injuries.

Required profile

• ANM, GNM or BSc Nursing qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently, handle emergencies and maintain emotional resilience.
• Good observation, communication and basic computer skills for record‑keeping.
