Reservations Executive

About the role

The Reservations Executive ensures accurate handling of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes for a luxury resort. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and internal teams, delivering exceptional service while supporting revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Verify room availability, rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Accommodate and document special guest requests and answer questions about property facilities.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input data into the reservation system.
• Set up billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues or escalate as needed.
• Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, and coaching of staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related reservations or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
