Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic & Outpatient Department

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Orthopaedic and Main Outpatient nursing team. The role involves delivering both clinical and non‑clinical care to patients in a busy outpatient setting, under the guidance of the senior nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support within the Orthopaedic and Main Outpatient department.
• Carry out delegated clinical and non‑clinical duties as directed by senior nursing staff.
• Achieve mandatory induction standards for Registered Nurses in Scotland.
• Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct throughout employment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Post‑registration nursing experience in a clinical environment (desirable).
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working in a busy outpatient setting.
• Enthusiastic team player committed to high standards of patient care.
• Willingness to comply with NHS policies, induction requirements, and the NMC Code.

Required skills

• Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.
• Clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to follow delegated clinical instructions safely.
