Proposal Engineer / Project Engineer

About the role

As a Proposal Engineer / Project Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of projects from order booking through to dispatch, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers and technical integration consultants (TIC) to secure order bookings.
• Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to validate profitability and collectability.
• Enter fully executable sales orders and confirm technical scope, compliance and agreements with customers.
• Conduct CRM meetings with Operations, obtain IFAT/CFAT clearance and ensure adherence to business rules and ISO audit requirements.
• Release sales orders in SAP, manage post‑order documentation, and follow up on FAT and dispatch commitments.
• Capture technical learnings and hand over knowledge to After‑Market teams for I&C customer sign‑off.
• Provide end‑to‑end project management, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 3‑4 years of experience in project management and technical sales support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• SAP (order release and management).
• CRM tools for customer interaction and tracking.
• Project Management.
• Technical documentation and compliance handling (IFAT/CFAT).
