Project Manager

About the role

Fluor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead small‑to‑medium engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) projects or segments of larger initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing an execution framework that meets contract requirements while ensuring safety, quality, cost‑effectiveness, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a defined project area and develop a clear course of action within company guidelines.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are applied throughout all project phases.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Fluor prime contract and any relevant sub‑contracts.
• Collaborate on project preparation in line with Fluor’s Operating System Requirements and Implementation Plans.
• Verify that baseline execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets are met.
• When acting as Proposal Manager, lead technical and commercial proposal development, schedule preparation, cost estimating, and strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum eight years of related work).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge required to execute project tasks and comply with local, state/province, and federal regulations.
• Demonstrated capability to learn and apply new technical information quickly.
