Production Engineer

About the role

Tata Electronics Private Limited is building India’s first AI‑enabled semiconductor foundry. The Production Engineer will oversee shift‑based manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while leading a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise production operators to achieve daily output targets.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely interventions.
• Prepare and submit shift reports highlighting productivity, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise workflow, reduce downtime, and improve yield.
• Train and mentor staff to raise efficiency and skill levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in production supervision or shift management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and manage diverse teams.
