Product Owner – Orchestration (BPM & .NET)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead orchestration initiatives within our AI & Intelligent Automation unit. You will bridge business process modeling and technical implementation, driving digital transformation across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop .NET components, SOAP services, SQL stored procedures, triggers, ETL jobs, and middleware to integrate Bizagi with enterprise applications.
• Model and automate business processes using BPMN 2.0 and platforms such as Bizagi, Pega or Appian.
• Lead requirements engineering activities, define use cases and translate them into technical specifications.
• Apply DevOps practices to ensure reliable delivery and continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, entrepreneurial team culture in a globally distributed, multicultural environment.
• Support agile Kanban workflows and drive BASF’s digital transformation agenda.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in BPMN 2.0 and business/digital process automation (Bizagi, Pega, Appian).
• Extensive experience with Node.js, C#.NET, Azure SQL Database (including stored procedures, triggers, job scheduling).
• Solid background in requirements engineering and use‑case definition.
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high analytical ability and strong customer orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure on complex, non‑routine tasks.
