Product Owner – Data Products (M/F/D)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the development of data products on our Enterprise Datalake. The role will work closely with local and global stakeholders to ensure the platform is scalable, reliable and secure while delivering high‑quality data services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and own the evolution of the data product layer of the Enterprise Datalake.
• Align with stakeholders to guarantee scalability, reliability and security of the platform.
• Ensure high quality of services, initiate improvements and new functionalities.
• Stay updated on emerging big‑data and data‑mesh technologies.
• Act as primary contact for business requests to consume data as Data Products.
• Collaborate with data product owners and user teams to capture requirements and propose solutions.
• Test new features, evaluate improvements and recommend implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 3‑4 years experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager or Business Consultant in data‑focused domains.
• Additional 3‑4 years experience as a Data Engineer working with cloud platforms such as Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Proven experience in Agile environments with a DevOps mindset.
• Strong requirements engineering and backlog management capabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
