Product Manager – Lending Platform

About the role

As a Product Manager you will work closely with Business, Product, Solution Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate customer and business needs into scalable product solutions for Paytm’s lending platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with vertical product managers and business leads to understand product use cases, customer journeys, and business impact.
• Understand various technology platforms, write detailed product requirement documents, and manage future roadmaps and deliverables.
• Ensure clear, simple, and technically sound decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on lending platforms to shape requirements and solutions.
• Influence senior management and cross‑functional teams to accelerate decisions and resolve technical roadblocks.
• Lead Agile/Scrum processes, manage expectations, and regularly track roadmap progress.
• Proactively test products, run edge cases, verify end‑to‑end journeys, and establish product reporting to monitor KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in product management, preferably in banking or fintech.
• Deep understanding of lending platforms and credit product development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
